Description:: This audio recording features a church service at Cascade United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia on March 30, 1997. This audio recording of the Easter Sunday service proceedings includes songs by Unity Choir and a sermon by Reverend Dr. Walter L. Kimbrough. At 00:47:11, Reverend Dr. Walter L. Kimbrough delivers the sermon, "Were You There?", in which he questions the congregation of their presence with God. Kimbrough asks "Were You There?" when the sun refused to shine and when Jesus was crucified and questions where the congregation presently stands with Jesus, encouraging the congregation to seek and stay loyal to Jesus. The recording ends with a baptism, prayer, and song.
