- Photographs of Dr. Dale Carter when he was the Superintendent of Hamilton County Schools beginning in 1974. (City of Chattanooga schools and Hamilton County schools merged in 1997). See attached 1975 article for information about a desegregation/integration order in the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County School systems. Dated October 1974. c) "L to R: Dr. Mrs. Dale Carter, Sam McConnell. June 4, 1974."
