- Letter from Esther Poyourow, executive secretary of the Bronx Council of Emma Lazarus Clubs, New York, New York, to Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr. in New York, New York. In the letter, Poyourow welcomes DeLaine on behalf of the Jewish women's club and pledges support for the fight for complete African American equality and efforts to unseat Mississippi Congressmen who were elected when African Americans were denied the freedom to vote.
