One page letter from Isaiah DeQuincey Newman to Ruby Hurley, dated June 4, 1963. In the letter, Newman notifies Hurley of his intention to submit a resignation letter, describes a copy of an attached letter that he submitted to Roy Wilkins outlining his reasons for resignation, and establishes that Hurley's familiarity with the "Methodist itinerant system" makes the copy of his letter to Wilkins self-explanatory.
