- Records collected by the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission on Charles Evers between May 1969 and November 1971. The file documents a boycott in Port Charles, Mississippi, Ever's campaign and election as mayor of Fayette, and his unsuccessful campaign for governor of Mississippi in 1971. The file contains reports by members of the commission and articles from newspapers and magazines in Mississippi and around the country.
