- Text on reverse: "James Bell, Grand Dragon of the KKK, shakes hands with August Klapprott, fuehrer of the German-American Bund, at a joint Klan-Bund rally held at the Bund's Camp Nordland (New Jersey) on the eve of World War II. Said Klapprott: "The principles of the Bund and the Klan are the same!" Stetson Kennedy (1916-2011), writer and civil rights activist, collected these photographs during the course of his career fighting for equality throughout the Southern United States.
