White, Melvin Lorenzo, 1942-
Biography:
Melvin Lorenzo White was nineteen years old when he was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi for his participation in the Freedom Rides. As part of the Freedom Ride, White took a bus from Montgomery, Alabama to Jackson, Mississippi where he was arrested at the Trailways terminal in Jackson, Mississippi on 21 June 1961.
