Muse, Grant Harland

Biography:

Reverend Grant Harland Muse, Jr. was a thirty-five year old priest at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Berkeley, California when he was arrested for his participation in the Freedom Rides. As part of the Freedom Ride Muse rode on the Illinois Central Railroad from New Orleans, Louisiana to Jackson, Mississippi where he was arrested with nearly a dozen others on 20 June 1961.
