Montgomery, Jesse

Biography:

Jesse Montgomery lived in Jackson, Mississippi during the 1960s and played a fundamental role in organizing and promoting civil rights demonstrations and other activities throughout the city and Hinds County. Montgomery was a close colleague of Ted Seivers and Henry Hatches and was affiliated with both the Hinds County City Community Council and the Hinds County Freedom Democratic Party.
