Kinderman, Gibbs Von, 1943-
Born in 1943, Gibbs Von Kinderman attended Harvard University and at the age of twenty-four, volunteered to participate in the COFO sponsored Mississippi Freedom Project during the summer of 1964. Two years later in 1966, Kinderman married Katharine Bancroft Schlesinger, daughter of historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr.
