Jones, Albert N.

Biography:

Albert N. Jones was chosen by Mississippi governor Ross Barnett to serve as director of the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission. Jones served as commission director from 1960 to 1964. He also served in the United States Army during World War II, and before and after the war was deputy sheriff or chief deputy sheriff in Hinds County.
