Hatches, Henry, 1930-

Biography:

Henry Hatches was born in Utica, Mississippi on February 20, 1930. He was an active participant in the civil rights movement in Jackson, Mississippi when he took part in a welfare rights demonstration and an Anti-Vietnam War demonstration during a visit to from Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara during the 1960s. Hatches was later affiliated with the New Republic of Africa.
