Drolet, Jerome Andrew, 1908-1995
In 1960, Catholic priest Jerome A. Drolet escorted Methodist minister Lloyd Andrew Foreman and Foreman's daughter, Pamela Lynn, to William Frantz elementary school. Drolet supported Foreman in ignoring the Citizens' Council boycott of William Frantz elementary school following its November desegregation. The Foreman family was harassed by white segregationists until they left the state in mid-December of the same year.
