Cole, Donald F.
Donald F. Cole was born and raised in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He became involved in the civil rights movement during high school and eventually left Ridgeland to become more involved with civil rights activities in Jackson, Mississippi. During the 1960s Cole participated in numerous marches and demonstrations, including, a demonstration in Jackson, Mississippi to protest a visit to the city by Defense Secretary Robert McNamara.
