Mrs. Connor was State Executive Secretary of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party (MFDP), Treasurer of the COFO-Hattiesburg Project, and an MFDP delegate to the Democratic Party&apos;s convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in August, 1964.</dc_description>
