<dc_description>Oral history in which Captain William Jackson recalls leading a special police force charged with maintaining peace during the 1963 demonstrations.  He describes the various activities that occurred during that time and the measures he and his men took to keep order. Various informants are mentioned, including Jesse Jackson and Bill Thomas.  He also recalls activities surrounding the shootings at A&amp;T in 1969 that resulted in the death of Willie Grimes.</dc_description>
