Afro-American Heritage bicentennial commemorative quilt. The quilt features important events and people in African American history including the Dred Scott decision, the Fourteenth Amendment, Dr. Martin Luther King, and the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
