Announces: The Seattle branch of VVAW supports a demonstration in favor of charging the United States government with genocide for their actions in the Vietnam War. They write that they have partnered with Students for a Democratic Society and the Black Student Union to expose racism in the military complex, and society as a whole. Quote from document: "We have come to see that the Vietnam war is part of a much larger warthat racism in Indochina and the military are part of larger overall genocidal policies funded by the government, propagated by the national media and educational institutions, and profitted off of by the few big businessmen, politicans, and generals who also profit by the war in Vietnam."
