The first page of this five-page document is a cover letter written by Fannie Lou Hamer to the Student Nonviolence Coordinating Committee regarding the Congressional challenge which the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party is conducting. The following four pages outline the challenge of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. It includes the plans for development of the party, the organizational structure, and its three major challenges, which include: Freedom registration, Freedom candidates, and the Convention challenge. It ends with an explanation of the Convention challenge and the MDFP plan to challenge the seating in the Mississippi Delegation.
