The front-page story of this issue reports the bombing of the home of an African-American voter registration worker in Terrell County, Georgia. Other articles include the story of the release in Oxford of five Mississippi law officers who were charged with conspiracy to deprive five African Americans of their civil rights after beating them in Winona, Mississippi. Other topics include a recent SNCC conference, and the results of a recent boycott in Atlanta, Georgia.
