From the Campbell (Will D.) Papers; Typewritten letter on Tougaloo College letterhead from Jane Stembridge to Will D. Campbell, dated March 22, 1964. Stembridge explains the current conditions facing volunteers who are coming to Mississippi for the summer of 1964, presumably to work for the Mississippi Freedom Project. She also expresses concern for the safety of the volunteers and requests help from Campbell.
