From the Campbell (Will D.) Papers. Copy of a typewritten letter from Bob Moses to Wyatt (last name not given), dated July 14, 1961, in which Moses provides an update of civil rights activities in Mississippi. He discusses representing the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). The letter was written when Moses was in McComb working with the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to coordinate a voter registration project.
