Typewritten letter from John Doar to Victoria Jackson Gray (Adams) dated September 20, 1966. Doar (Assistant Attorney General, Civil Rights Division) explains that the Department of Justice acted in accordance with the Voting Rights Act of 1965 with regard to complaints made by Gray to the contrary.
