Outline of a speech presented by Victoria Jackson Gray (Adams) to the Subcommittee on Elections of the House Administrative Committee in an appeal for the committee to allow her to run against Congressman William Colmer. Gray's request was part of the Mississippi Congressional Challenge of 1965 and emphasizes the historical significance of the committee's decision. Also includes a historical overview of the Mississippi Congress.
