From the Randall (Herbert) Freedom Summer Photographs. Freedom School student Larry Lee sings during Freedom Summer in Palmers Crossing, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on August 4, 1964. Lee was probably singing during folksinger Pete Seeger's performance for a crowd of Freedom School students, local African-American residents, and volunteers at the Palmers Crossing Community Center.
