SNCC Field Secretary Sandy Leigh, Director of the COFO-Hattiesburg Project, stands to address a meeting of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party (MFDP) in the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, during Freedom Summer, 1964. To his left is seated volunteer Lorne Cress, Director of the COFO-Hattiesburg Community Centers.
