From the Randall (Herbert) Freedom Summer Photographs. Civil rights volunteers standing around the Coca-Cola cooler at a fish fry hosted by local civil rights leader Vernon Dahmer on July 4, 1964, on his property in the Kelly Settlement north of Hattiesburg. Those identified in the photograph are Denise Jackson (on the right wearing a kerchief) and a volunteer nicknamed "Big Daddy" (on the left with a towel around his neck).
