From the Zwerling (Matthew) Freedom Summer Collection. Telegram from Dr. Israel Zwerling, dated August 4, 1964, sent to various government officials regarding the discovery of three bodies near Philadelphia, Mississippi. It is assumed that Zwerling is referring to James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner, three civil rights workers who were reported missing in June 1964.
