From the Ellin (Joseph and Nancy) Freedom Summer Collection; Report of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party explaining the procedures of the Congressional Challenge, including notices served to accused congressmen and the presentation of arguments of disenfranchisement and discrimination. Statutory procedures and time frames are also explained. The rights of the Fairness Resolution and the vote for its approval are discussed, and the evidence backing the Congressional Challenge is presented. The importance of support from Northern politicians is emphasized.
