Oral history. Interview conducted on 04-18-1996 with Zoya Zeman (born 1943). Ms. Zeman was a civil-rights activist who worked on the Mississippi Summer Project in Clarksdale, where she worked at the community center, organizing classes and doing health education and literacy work.
This interview is part of the Civil Rights Documentation Project, funded by the Mississippi Humanities Council, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
