Promotional photograph for "Harlem on Parade," a new musical to be staged by the USO. The photo contains the following caption: "JAM AND JIVE. New USO unit, 'Harlem on Parade,' conducted by Thomas Mosely, will tour the hospital circuit, visiting 109 army, navy and veterans' hospitals throughout the country. Veterans Hospital Camp Shows, now operating on USO funds, will entertain men of both races. Lora Pierre, left, and the Billy Moore Trio, look over lyrics of 'We're Brothers and Sisters of Joe Louis,' especially written for the show. The new USO is a member Red Feather service of the Community Chest." The photograph was sent to the California Eagle.
