Oral history interviews conducted by StoryCorps at Rhodes College in November 2007. Interviewees include Louvenia Hill and Cornett Townes; Olivia Gillum and Rose Mae Love; Robert Taylor, Deborah Douglas, and Rommie Vasser; Jesse Garner; Raymond Boles; Loretta Watkins and Linda Burks; Jimmy McClain; and Brenda Webber. Topics discussed include employment at Rhodes College, life in Memphis, Tennessee during the Civil Rights movement, and life in rural Tennessee and Memphis. The interviews are included in Crossroads with the permission of StoryCorps (www.storycorps.net).

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
