The report details local civil rights work, including a petition to Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph company seeking the end of discriminatory hiring; negotiations for desegregation of movies; complaints filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; a lawsuit filed against the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway Company; upcoming Equal Employment Opportunity workshops; membership campaign; and the Freedom Seal project.
