Report from the executive secretary of the Memphis, Tennessee branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) for March 7 through April 3, 1962. The report details local civil rights work, including the NAACP membership campaign, the state board meeting, protest over the segregated Shrine circus, response to the protest of police brutality, letter to the superintendent of city schools, legal redress, voter registration, African American employment in federal agencies and federal appointments, and the county school petition.
