Title:Civil rights march on Main Street, Memphis, Tennessee

Black-and-white photograph from 1960 of civil rights demonstrators marching in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. The demonstration is led by African American clergy, possibly Father Lyke and Bishop Henry C. Bunton, one of whom wears his clerical robes. White policemen stand opposite the demonstrators, and a white photographer takes a picture. People stand along the sidewalk and watch the demonstration.
