- Letter from G. A. Thomas, Executive Director of the Reid House of Christian Service in Charleston, South Carolina to Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr., of Hollis, Long Island, New York regarding interest in DeLaine returning to South Carolina to live. Thomas requests that DeLaine submit in writing details about a warrant against him in South Carolina. A postscript to the letter mentions the death of Reverend Carl C. Black.
