Letter from Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr., of Lake City, South Carolina to J. S. Boyd, president of the Clarendon County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) regarding Boyd's "unjustifiable" attack on DeLaine at a recent meeting at Boyd's home. DeLaine states, "attacks from enemies are expected by me; but attacks from my friends who are working for a common cause, is quite alarming."
The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
