Five page handwritten sermon dated January 16, 1944 based on the Biblical text 2 Timothy 4:7-8 that emphasizes rewards for steadfast faith, describes the influence of words of the apostle Paul, underscores the importance of inspiration invoked by pictures, and outlines the importance of three pictures to inspire a better life: the Christian soldier, the Christian athlete, and the Christian gentleman. The sermon instructs the faithful to follow plans laid out by God, and to practice kindness, selflessness, and exemplary behavior.
