One page of a typewritten sermon dated September 21, 1947 titled "The Churches' Neglect of Christ" that begins with a passage from the Biblical text Hebrews 2:3. The sermon asserts that salvation is an unending process, and that one must continually prove one's desire for it. The sermon emphasizes the importance of the golden rule, and warns against the sin of omission; the sermon ends with a quotation from the Biblical text Peter 2:20-22 which maintains that it is better to have not known righteousness than to have turned away from it.
