Web site providing information on locations on the National Register of Historic Places relating to the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s. The site provides a map of locations such as churches, schools, homes, and neighborhoods throughout the country significant to the struggle for African American civil rights in the United States. It also provides bibliographic information on significant resources relating to the Civil Rights movement and the individual locations.
The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
