Oral history in which Frank Odell Sherrill primarily recalls the demonstrations and pickets that took place outside of the S&W Cafeteria and the effects it had on the business. He explains the company's policy for not serving blacks, some specific incidents that took place, the efforts of Armistead Sapp to keep the cafeteria segregated, and the efforts of the Kennedys to accomplish desegregation.
