| Description: | Oral history in which Katie Dorsett primarily discusses her experiences while at North Carolina A&T State University, including the racial and socioeconomic demography of Greensboro, the 1960 sit-ins, the desegregation and integration of Greensboro schools, and the 1969 riot at Dudley High School and at North Carolina A&T State University. She also provides her observations on paternalism, race relations, and integration in the community and in the workforce. The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata. |
