These are Jack Valenti's handwritten notes taken during a meeting between Lyndon B. Johnson and his aides, Congressional leaders, and the Attorney General and his aides. The meeting concerned the logistics of the President sending a bill to Congress that would enforce the right of all Americans to vote.
The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
