Web page forming part of the companion to a Kentucky Educational Television documentary of the same title focusing on biographies of African Americans featured in the documentary. Each person featured in the documentary has a site with a photograph, a brief biography, and a link to an online copy of their interview.

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
