Issued this... Day of July 1954, Tallahassee, Florida. Signed, Bill Hendrix." Descriptive text: Klan front organization led by Bill Hendrix, Florida Grand Dragon, 1950s. Stetson Kennedy (1916-2011), writer and civil rights activist, collected these photographs during the course of his career fighting for equality throughout the Southern United States.
