- Descriptive text: Membership card of the "Klavalier Klub," the flag squad of Atlanta Klavern No. 1. 1945. "A.T." stands for "Ass-Tearer." Question mark--secrecy. Corkscrew--crookedness. Most members were members of Atlanta/Fulton detective forces. Stetson Kennedy (1916-2011), writer and civil rights activist, collected these photographs during the course of his career fighting for equality throughout the Southern United States.
