Description:

The Clifford "Baldy" Baldowski cartoon depicts Ernest Vandiver and George Murphy dancing on a stage in striped suits and hats and with canes. Their legs move rapidly, and their song and dance says "support the war," "--but not with excise taxes," "for poverty war," "--against poverty warriors," "for civil rights," "but against reapportionment." Signs around them say "EV and Charlie" and "EV and Gerry show." A television camera with the NBC peacock logo on it films them. An elephant in the audience is labeled "state of the stake."
