Clifford "Baldy" Baldowski cartoon depicts a group of marchers which include: a Rooty Toot waving an American flag, an elderly woman, a person in a K.K.K. outfit, a person with an elephant's head, and a southern gentleman soliciting funds. Signs held by members of the crowd include: a picture of Barry Goldwater's face and ones that read "Look out Dixie here we cum [sic]," "Peace is dangerous," and "Beat Scranton and Russia."
