Oral history interview with Primus King in which he discusses the discussing growing up in Columbus, Georgia, and his involvement in the trial that challenged the white-only Democratic Primary. King also mentions several jobs he held, including working at a cotton mill, serving white families as a butler and chauffeur, owning a barber shop, and leading congregations as a preacher. He further talks about civil rights challenges faced by African Americans in Columbus.

The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
